...or the Bentley Arnage?

It's been a while since we've updated this. Since the last post we've moved to our permanent crib. Which is pimp. Everyone is now on the slope and we're starting to get jobs, so everything is on track.

Some photos from Sunshine...

All of us hitting the same kicker.

The 'back door' leading to miles of untouched snow and amazing tree lines just out of sunshines boundaries.

About 15 min walk from the back door where you can start skiing in untouched pow around, under and into trees.

Charles playing in waist deep pow.

Cliff drop on the run 'Headwall'.

'you put the soup h'INTO the bowl' (?)

So here is the story....10ft cliff drop, landed! but was goin so fast that when I hit the other side of the valley my body compressed into itself. Whilst everybody was thinking I had just dropped to the floor after the run, I was lyin on the floor unable to breath as I winded myself so badly, and hit my ass so hard into the snow I felt like my spine had shattered.
To make things worse when I went to get my back looked at. I had to tell the guy which run I was doing, I told him that it was 'Head Wall' (a black run) so he wrote down thats what I fell over on, but it turns out because I landed the drop and fell at the bottom of the hill I was actually on a green run...this really does not look that cool on the accident form.

On a lighter note we have found a place to live.

..."Its Just 25 Minutes Down The Road"

1st day at Sunshine (11/11/09)

This was a small powder run we found just off of the strawberry lift.

More pictures and videos coming when everyone gets on the slopes.

Jackie Chan has been in 123 movies but can't sort us out a house!

Tunnel Mountain is the smallest mountain in the area.

This is us at the top, we got there just as the sun set.

Have You Got YOUR Shoes On?

We are now officially ambassadors of Banff. This gave us free access to some pretty cool places in Banff including the Banff Gondola where at the top we got to walk in the first proper snow of the season.
We also got $500 off of our season pass...not bad going for sitting around watching a movie about Banff for a couple of hours.

This path led you on a 8km walk down the mountain, I don't think Nike Airs and Adidas trainers are suitable for snow, as we found out.

Custom group shot plus Eric's large sandwich (not a euphemism).

Eric taking in the scenery. Some of the best views you are ever likely to see.

So now we have only got one more week left until we can go skiing/snowboarding. We are going to be getting the Sunshine Valley pass and then upgrade to the full 'ski the big three' pass when we get jobs.

Big Truck

If we had this truck we would not have to worry about a place to live.

Arrival

Three Guys, A Sandwich And One Hot Shower.

We have no jobs, no fixed address and today pretended to be catholic for free soup and bread.  Soup was good.  Ben had the first fall of the season, walking along a path.

As there is not much snow we have been going on some walks to get our legs ready for the skiing/boarding. Possibly some of the most beautiful scenery in the world. Nothing but rivers, trees and mountains.

Banff Springs Hotel is in the background, this is a place we can only dream of living.

Banff Avenue, basically the same as Epsom.  Though colder, more roaming deer, fuck off mountains and a lack of Weatherspoons. What you see in this picture is pretty much the whole of Banff's main street.

Eric going caveman on us. The woods are now his gym.

We have every deal on food and drink memorized for each day of the week, its Thursday today so we are just about to head off for 25 cent wings at the Paddock.
